Dentist In Kanata

Dr. David Schooley graduated from the University of Toronto with his DDS in 1982. He moved back to his hometown of Ottawa after completing a General Practice Residency at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. Dr. Schooley started the Dental Practice in Suite 202 of the Kanata Medical Arts Building in 1984.


He has greatly enjoyed his involvement in organized Dentistry over the years, having been a member of both the Canadian Dental Association and Ontario Dental Association since graduation and of the Ottawa Dental Society since moving back in 1983. He has participated in several ODS committees and held various positions including ODS President. He served on the Ontario Dental Association’s General Council for six years and the ODA’s Health Policy and Currently he is Chair of the ODS Political Action Committee and a member of the ODA’s Education Advisory Committee.


Outside of the office, Dr. Schooley enjoys winter sports that get him outside in the snow, dreaming of a potential Senator’s winning season, woodworking, and dabbling at some golf in the summer. He feels very lucky to have five grandchildren, four of whom live a bike ride away.
